(I swear, sometimes looking at how over all stagnate my stats are gets a bit depressing.
Lead Generation
Since this week I was interested in increasing referral, I looked up my stats for that. Referrals are actually my highest traffic driving channel, bringing in just shy of 80% of my traffic or 139 visitors this past month. Granted, most of those visitor are coming from a website that has nothing to do with my subject, have an average session time of 0.0 seconds and a bounce rate of 100%. I wish I knew why a link to my site exists on a page listing code for share buttons.
Of referral locations that actual lead to those who spend time on my site reading and/or visit other pages, the top one is feedly. Feedly is an RSS reader, so that means I do have people who have not only subscribed, but click through to my site and not just read in on Feedly. The second one is the site for a blogging event that has a mini kickoff Monday and a huge on on April 1st so I expect that traffic to sky rocket. I'll have to post some data about that.
As for getting traffic from the sites I wanted to - CC and Nano, no cigar. I'm gonna say it was cuz my standard were too high. I read the forum posts, but when I didn't feel I had something to contribute I didn't. CC doesn't have a super active forum community (though I've gotten links from my profile before) and Nano's prime time is the fall.
I did also get traffic from deviant art, and while they didn't spend a lot of time they visited a lot of pages. I'm taking that to mean my working with artists to post flash fiction based on their work to be somewhat successful. Those posts haven't gotten me much extra traffic, but they are being read.

Eh...tonight? I've got time set aside everyday all next week.
