Took a break for a week again because of final preparations. While they're all this week, last week required lots of team meetings and thinking that were super taxing and this week is stressful but not super time consuming with the module wrapping up on Wednesday. Thus, plenty of time to work on this.

This week, I'm supposed to answer questions on LinkedIn and Quora according to the guide. I'm going to amend that a bit, since I don't want to make already *more* social media accounts (I'm already swamped!) to instead answering questions on the forums of writing sites I already belong to. That is, Critique Circle and the NaNoWriMo site as well as questions I see posted in my Google+ groups. I've noticed in the past, especially during NaNo, that a lot of my referral traffic came from my signature in forums. Answering questions, even if they're just plot help, would certainly boost my reputation.

Gardner is telling me to write an e-book. Which I've already done with Flicker. That was the point of this, I want to sell more! This is another example of Gardner's guide having slightly different focus then me. He's building up a topic specific website, achieving authority through information offerings that can then be used to sell. Me? I only achieve authority by selling a lot.
Still, something I've noticed publishing free fiction is the larger my offerings, the more interested parties I get. That is to say, having three novels for sales is better than just one because I'd have three revenue sources that can feed into each other. Especially for a series. Which means I do need to write another book. To which I can only say, I'm working on it in my itty bit of free time. For this week though, I'm having the goal of reading through a short story and making edits in the margins.
